The 16th edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) concluded on a high note, leaving an indelible mark on audiences and the cinematic world. Held from March 1 to March 8, 2025, in the vibrant city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, the festival embraced the theme “Universal Peace in Diversity,” showcasing a diverse selection of over 200 films from 60 countries across 11 venues.

One of the highlights was the thought-provoking Hindi film Humans in the Loop, which delved into the complex relationship between artificial intelligence and humanity. Kannada cinema also took center stage with Mikka Bannada Hakki, a captivating work by director Manohara K. Adding to the festival’s thrill, the Malayalam suspense drama Level Cross, directed by Arfaz Ayub, secured the Second Best Indian Film Award.
