Hero MotoCorp Unveils Transformative Surge S32 EV: A New Era in Urban Mobility

Hero MotoCorp has made headlines with the launch of its innovative Surge S32 EV at the India Auto Expo 2025. This convertible electric scooter is designed to address the diverse needs of urban commuters, providing both commercial and personal transportation solutions in one versatile package.

The Surge S32 EV stands out with its ability to transform from a three-wheeled rickshaw to a high-performance scooter in just three minutes. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for urban mobility, catering to various use cases seamlessly.

Equipped with two battery options, the Surge S32 EV offers significant versatility. The first option is an 11 kWh battery that powers the rickshaw mode, delivering 13.4 bhp. The second option is a 3.5 kWh battery for the scooter mode, providing 4 bhp. With these configurations, the vehicle can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h in rickshaw mode and 60 km/h in scooter mode. The rickshaw setup can carry loads of up to 500 kg, making it perfect for commercial applications.

Hero MotoCorp’s latest innovation also features modern conveniences such as dual digital displays, wireless phone charging, and a fixed glass roof. Safety is paramount, with multiple airbags, advanced driver assistance systems like lane keep assist and cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control.
