Enhance Your Phone Signal: Switch to the Best Network with Intra-Circle Roaming and DBN Towers

For example, one area might have strong Jio signal, another might have strong Airtel signal, and yet another might have strong BSNL signal. To address these issues, the central government has introduced a new feature. The Ministry of Telecommunications recently announced the availability of intra-circle roaming (ICR). Similar to the roaming service used for international calls and internet access, ICR allows you to use your existing phone number to access other networks within the country. This means that whether you are a Jio, Airtel, or BSNL user, you can now switch to a network with a stronger signal and access 4G services without any hassle.

Currently, the ICR feature is available within the coverage areas of DBN (Digital Bharat Nidhi) towers. The DBN initiative was launched by the central government to provide efficient and high-quality telecommunication services to everyone in the country.

At present, the ICR feature is only available between the networks of Jio, Airtel, and BSNL. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Minister of Telecommunications, mentioned that these three companies have agreed to share their networks. In the future, more telecom companies may join this initiative. There are currently 27,836 DBN towers across the country, ensuring that there are no signal issues anywhere in India.
